Evaluate the scenario

Another reason to evaluate the scenario before you pick your process:

On one side: predictability. That means measured velocity, sized work, overall move a little slower but you can predict.

The other side: unknown innovation: wild west, fast, unknown, crazy things happen, you might not get what you set out for but it might be something better.

Many projects have 1 team on the left, 1 on the right, as the customer wants both. Teams won’t realize their deadlines include some unknowns unless you allow for teams acting different ways. 

Pick, not pile. Divide and conquer.
